Things we love in and around  Molonglo

This is a great place to grab a coffee (or brunch) with friends in the heart of Denman Prospect. James and the team have created a wonderfully welcoming environment with delicious food. Some of the Molonglo Valley Gospel Community meet here each Tuesday morning at 7.15 for a time of prayer before work.

In a quiet corner at the back of Wright you’ll find the ACT Bushfire Memorial. The memorial tells the story of the 2003 bushfires which burned through this area (before the suburbs were built). It’s a good place to discover some of the history of the area and spend time reflecting or walking around a small circuit.

The Molonglo river corridor is home to many great walking trails, as well as the Namarag Nature Reserve. The reserve is designed to show Ngunnawal culture and life as well as restore native bushland. Part of the reserve is a nature playground for kids.
