Our current bible talk series – Social Distance Origins

We believe that the gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ is good news for everyone, regardless of race, age, social status, religion, education and achievement.

Anyone is welcome – from all regions across Canberra! We have people from Coombs, Wright, Denman Prospect, Belconnen, Weston Creek, Uriarra Village, ANU and Civic. On Friday nights our youth combine with other teens from across the Bible Churches.

Molonglo Bible Church is in fellowship with Southside Bible Church and also part of the Fellowship of Independent Evangelical Churches (FIEC).

Molonglo Bible Church meets at the Denman Prospect Community Center every Sunday at 9:30am. The community Center is on Kondelea Way next to the sales office, near the Denman Prospect display village.

We seek to Build the Body of Christ

The Bible tells us that it takes the whole Body of believers to do the work of the church (Ephesians 4:11-16), not just the “professional” Pastors. So we encourage the church to use their gifts and put them to work in many ways across the church body. The Pastors are there to equip and help everyone discover their gifts, teaching from God’s Word and encouraging Every Member Ministry.

We seek to Reach people with the Gospel

The church gathers for a weekly Sunday Celebration, and then scatters. In God’s strength we seek to promote the Gospel of all grace with our lips and our lives. It is God who gives the growth to His church, but He graciously chooses to use us in this endeavour. We seek to reach people through local and global mission.

We seek to Make Disciples of Jesus

Being a Christian is much more than attending church on Sunday. Following Jesus impacts every compartment of our lives – work, family, friendships, school and university life, rest, play, hobbies, social concerns, and everything else! To be a disciple of Jesus is to invite Him to be Lord not only of the margins of life, but at the very centre of your being. We seek to be disciples of Jesus who are disciple-makers.
